Submit Your Pet

Does your pet have star quality? Have you captured it in a photograph? If so, your pet could be the star of a Retro Pets print! If Krista chooses your pet's photo as inspiration, you'll receive 2 free prints, plus your pet will also be featured in our "Meet the Pet Behind the Retro Pet" section.

It's like a mini web page starring your pet!

The first step is to answer our 15 Fun Questions which helps Krista learn more about your pet's personality. If you want to see what other people said, be sure to click on "See other people's answers to the 15 Fun Questions" on the top of the 15 Fun Questions page. (That's where your answers and pet's photo will be displayed after they have been approved).

After you answer the 15 Questions you'll be taken to a page to upload photos. (They need to be in the jpeg format in order to work on our site). You'll upload one photo, then be taken to a new page where you'll have the choice to "sign" our Release the Hounds form (which means you're entering the contest) or you can choose to skip the contest. Either way, you will then have the opportunity to upload some more photos. We'll choose one of your photos to be displayed with your pet's 15 Fun Answers. The others will be kept on file as reference in case Krista chooses your pet as an inspiration.

Krista looks for fun, sweet, expressive photos, with an emphasis on close-up head shots.
