Hi All!
I missed doing the January newsletter. So sorry. Just want to thank everybody who've been answering my 15 Fun Questions and uploading great photos... keep them coming! Sometimes it's more than a year before I decide to use a certain pet... or get a chance to... so please be patient. Just because you don't hear from me right away, it doesn't mean your pet won't eventually be a winner.
all my best,
krista:)

| Loyal Lab Lager |
Congratulations to Riley the yellow Lab! He was the inspiration for one of my latest prints. He lives in Alaska and his photo was sent in by his mom, Sasha P. of Anchorage.
8x10 prints are $20 each and 11x14 prints go for $32. If you'd like an 11x14
print, please call us toll-free at 866-992-1930 as the web site is not set up
to sell those.

| Patron Saint of Counter Surfers |
Towards the end of last year I started getting lots and lots of requests to do a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I looked through all the entries and found this handsome devil to be inspired by. Read more about Bizango by clicking the link below - then click on Meet the Pet Behind the Retro Pet. It was suggested by a bunch of RR owners that they be named Patron Saint of Counter Surfers as they're very sneaky in the kitchen.

| Great Mug on this Pug |
This print is based on a wonderful Pug named Oscar. His photo inspired me to do the Patron Saint of Snorters (there's also a black Pug version of this print). His photo was sent in by Lisa Y. of Seattle, WA. She answered my 15 Fun Questions and her dog was a winner!

| Why
don't you sell your prints already framed? |
|
The reason we don't sell these framed is that there are so many different
styles and colors of prints. We couldn't (at least at this point) say "OK,
we'll offer them all in a black frame". They wouldn't all look good in black...
These pop right into standard size frames (8x10 or 11x14) so what I recommend
is to go to any department store (I love the discount department stores!) and
pick your self out the perfect frame.

This girl just wants to have fun!!!
What a great photo! It was sent in with the 15 Fun Questions by Kathy S. of Tehachapi, CA. This Aussie's name is Hit 'n' Heel Kiss My Britches (call name Mako, like the shark)
NICKNAMES: May-May; Mako-Shark; Mako Baby; Crazy May; The Mighty, Mighty Mako of the Northern SoCal Territory.
There's a link below if you'd like read Mako's 15 Fun Answers.
But first, here's an email we recently received from a customer:
"I ordered the black and tan dachshund print for my parents. Several years ago, we had two black and tan doxies that passed away. Those dogs left a hole in our lives. When I received the print it made me cry and then made me cry again to see my parent's faces when they opened the print. This has been the best gift I could have found to give someone and I will order from Retro Pets again. Thanks Krista, you made my Christmas special and I was even more grateful that you got me my order on time." - Christy
